Plan some time, otherwise you won't see a single bird like me! And yet there are 26 different bird species here and they can all be heard. The continuous chirping together with the dense, untamed green is like a jungle in the middle of Berlin. The area was a hunting area during the imperial era. In 1934, Wilhelm Schmidt turned it into a bird sanctuary. There is also a forest ghost as oak and whoever finds it can wish for something. Good luck searching! The green area with the well-developed paths extends from Gropiushaus to Landfill Großziethen. The Vogelwäldchen has been part of the Neukölln garden culture path since 2006.
