
It is really great. A successful mixture of garden, park and blacksmith in a relaxed atmosphere. There is a rock garden, a pond, medicinal and spice garden, grass garden, fairytale hut, a sculpture garden, a stately manor house and much more. So there is a lot to discover and, above all, a treat for the eye, colored flowers and loving arrangements are everywhere. The many sculptures made of natural materials and old horticultural equipment are also really peppy. Here you are not just a customer, but completely in the middle. One with the garden, very close.
They clinch the deal with the farm café and the farm shop. In the latter, I can only recommend you to buy the handmade mustard cucumbers if you like cucumbers.
The nursery was founded in 1720 as a family business. Franz Späth settled a tree nursery here in 1864, which laid the foundation stone for today's botanical garden at Humboldt University - the Späth Arboretum. And the latter is a collection of various, mostly exotic trees. Now you know.
