First you think of a red and white striped circus tent. But then you take a closer look and recognize the temple by its fabulous dome. Somehow he is wedged between the intersection and the house and is far too far from the street. You have to get closer to within a few meters. This is the only way you can see all the many filigree figures. And it's worth it, because in contrast to local religions, female charms are not hidden in Hindu temple jewelry, but opulent. In addition to the bright colors, the swastikas typical of Hindu temples, which, according to ancient tradition, are a symbol of the sun here, take some getting used to. But I haven't found any of them here. If you like Asia, the temple immediately creates a holiday mood. This is an exotic experience even for Neukölln. The completely blue-green tiled interior made me think of a swimming pool, otherwise it is brightly colored inside and out and full of ornate deities. Unfortunately, hardly anything is shown in German or English. And don't forget to wash your feet before visiting, because you have to leave your shoes outside.

Attending a festive event will be worthwhile.
