Whichever way you ended up here, it was definitely exhausting. So do the never-ending stages. But it's worth it. In good weather you have the best view across Berlin.

Around 1880 the Müggelturm was made of wood and was 10 meters tall. Today the landmark of Köpenick stands at almost 30 meters on the summit of the small Müggelberg, the summit of the large Müggelberg is not far away. There is a lookout point nearby. After a refreshment at the foot of the tower, it's best to explore it and also the Devil's Lake. Then you have your fitness workload for the day done.

For a long time there was a dispute over privatization, the site fell into disrepair and the tower was unusable for a long time. It has been open again since 2018, as well as three restaurants on five terraces. There are even ambitious plans for a second barrier-free tower and an open-air cinema. We can be curious.

Well suited for children!
The place is overcrowded on sunny holidays.
Entry to the tower ends around 5 p.m., one hour before the end of visiting hours. There have already been many disappointed faces, so be there early enough.
There is several restaurants on site, but you should plan plenty of time to eat on sunny days
