In the horseshoe settlement you take a trip back in time to modern Berlin at the beginning of the 20th century. Bruno Taut made the building complex with the horseshoe shape unique and famous. And horseshoes are known to bring luck, so you should have been here once. The inner courtyard is a true idyll, in the summer the frogs croak in the pool, it is wonderful to stroll along here. The exterior view with the curved front is also impressive. And how do you find the brightly colors of the surrounding houses and front doors? At the time, this was heavily criticized. I think it expresses enjoyment of life. The house fronts remind me of Burano near Venice, it is just wonderfully happy. Take some time and do a few extra laps.
