Woltersdorf is not exactly the center of the world now, but there are a few small sights. But instead of small... there is the Eichberg with its almost 100 meters. Formally it belongs to Berlin, but the trail from the Berlin side is not legal. Officially, it is only accessible from the Woltersdorf side. And it is not a mountain, but a (former / renatured?) rubble landfill. That makes things special.
But apart from the dust and garbage you have an insane outlook! In front of you there is quite a lot of forest, the Wilhelmshagen-Woltersdorfer dune area. Behind it, the Müggelberg rises and the Müggelsee shines at its foot. From there your gaze wanders over Berlin's complete silhouette, embedded in the almost endless expanse of the Brandenburg WWW: woods and wind turbines and wolves. And you imagine how beautiful a sunrise would be here. Or that New Year's Eve must be a unique experience here, if not so jwd (so far far away). And forbidden and dangerous. Because the site is cordoned off and may only be entered with permission.
