Originally created naturally, the Ahrensfeld mountains grew to twice the height of 112 meters thanks to rubble and rubbish. And what happens to dumps of this kind in Berlin? You are going through a metamorphosis into a landscape park. A few ambitious people have heaped up a hill as a viewing platform to make it the largest elevation in Berlin. But - oh dear - in the end, despite this boil with a total of 114.5 meters, it was only fourth place among the Berlin surveys. But you can catch an impressive view of Berlin. And not just on Marzahn, but to the other end of Berlin, the Teufelsberg.
The Wuhle hiking trail continues around the mountains through the oak park. If you are traveling on it, you should not miss the detour to the summit.

Access from the south is best suited, especially for bicycles. And downhill that's really fun. Other approaches are uncomfortable and steep.
The place is overcrowded on sunny holidays.
Well suited for children! Playground is south of the mountains. And there is a long row of colorful stones along the Wuhleweg.
